Yummy??

We had a Full load of dishes in the dish washer...Molly is such a good Helper with filling the soap container, closing the door and pushing the Start button. I turned around to put the soap away and I hear Molly spitting and saying Yucky! To my pleasant suprise...Molly had eaten a spoonful of Dish Soap!

Best Money Ever Spent

I have never really been much into Garage Sales. Since we run a tight budget I decided to try it out...Saturday our friends found several sales and printed off the google map and we were off @ 6:00 AM! First stop...Almost New Bread Machine...you will never guess how much we bought it for...ok it was the best $2.00 we spent! Last Stop...Barbie bike for little Molly! oh and that was $2.00 as well. As soon as we got home, we pulled out Ella's bike from the Garage along with the "new bike" and had a "Car wash." We made those bikes sparkle!

Needless to say...if you search thru the Trash you will find the Treasure!

Pineapple

For the very first time...we bought a delicious pineapple!
For dinner tonight we had BBQ Chicken and Pineapple. While out at the BBQ our nice neighbor was out too. He proceeded to tell us of his childhood in Hawaii picking Pineapples.
We learned something tonight...
1. Most pineapple plants are only harvested two to three years, because the fruit begins to get smaller each year.
2. Pineapples do not grow on trees, as I thought they did... They come from a bromeliad plant that looks like spikes.
3. There are 2 different types of pineapples. The traditional Yellow and then the White Pineapple that is only eaten right after it is picked.
(BTW our grilled pineapple was delicious I don't know why we waited so long to buy one!)

Girls Trip To Utah

All about our fun trip to Utah
(So sorry daddy had to stay home)
Ella has been asking to ride the Train and Molly likes to play with the train set we have at home...the girls and I along with my Mom took a train ride from Sandy down to Temple Square. The girls thought it was just so much fun....we took a picnic lunch and toured the visitors centers, which I hadn't done for several years...we also saw the new City Center and a few of the new shops enclosed, one of which was Deseret Book Company. We had a great time.
While visiting in Utah, we drove up for a quick visit to Idaho!

Ella and her newest cousin Nate...she enjoyed holding him and "mothering" him.

Ella...Nate...Molly

My cute Sister Julie and her husband Clint blessed their baby Nathaniel and we were able to join them. Thanks for letting us be guests at your home! We had a wonderful time...can't wait to see you again soon! Baby Nate is adorable!
Farm Country

We took a day to go and visit the farm. The Goats were the favorite for the day...they would lick the girls fingers which tickled!

Ella and her horse Rose

Molly and her pony skittles

Fun with Nanny at the Farm! We were able to take a hay ride and see the fun animals...despite the sad faces the girls are making they had a wonderful time. Molly was just elated she got to ride on a horse...she did not stop talking about it the entire ride home.

The girls cousin Travis has his very own John Deere Tractor...This kid can cruise! Ella took a spin around the yard and crashed..no broken bones...

Ella's buddy...Uncle Jay! He taught her about rockets...Which she hasn't stopped talking about since our visit..thanks Jay!

The little magoo likes to run without clothes whenever possible. She was doing bubbles with Aunt Amy and got soaked.

The girls in the little Red Radio Flyer Wagon!...This was the wagon I played with as a child...oh memories...

Allie...Ella's best buddy...well besides T-Rex!

Bath time for T-Rex...of course Ella wanted to help!
One more... little Molly!

Little swimmers

Molly cried every lesson...she was happy only when picking up the rings with Ms. Tara

Ella learning to dive!

We decided to have the girls take swim lessons...since living here in Vegas the weather is warm year round...We thought it would be a safe thing to do since we are at the pool everyday! Ella has 4 more lessons to go! She can swim like a fish! Seriously I am impressed...thanks Tara!
