Ella and Molly enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt Aunt Amie and Allie did for them.

Grammy took Ella and Molly to Kangaroo Zoo! Super fun! I even got to play on the blow up slides and toys!

We went to FAT CATS for some bowling and delicious Pizza and bread twists from Pizza Factory for my Dad's birthday. By the way, Ella bowled a strike several times...the girl is a natural just like nanny!

Happy Birthday Day...Thanks for the bowling we had fun!

What can I say...not every picture has to have a smile...

So Molly is really into Sesame Street...She had to ride this before leaving Fat Cats!

Can I just say...we had a good time with family and friends...minus the snow everyday! We had fun! Thanks for the nice break...

"A Frog in the Bog"

I have decided to start blogging about books we like to read in our home. I recently purchased this book written by Karma Wilson (she is one of the many favorite Childrens literature authors I really like). This story is about a frog who sits and waits patiently to eat many delicious bugs and insects...making him very large...only to find he is sitting on something other than a Bog... very entertaining!

Flank Steak

I just have to share with you my most favorite meal of all time...Flank Steak!
I can eat that like no ones business!! Put a slab infront of me and it is gone!
I have missed they yummy taste in my mouth since living in Utah, where for a Sunday dinner, Spencer's Dad would cook up some delicious food...I am salivating as we speak...we had some for dinner tonight with some friends and every bite was delicious!

Mischief

We have a wild one on our hands! Little Molly is a very curious little girl who tends to get herself into mischief...with out even realizing it!

I have many stories to share but I will only share the latest...I was bathing the girls tonight while Spencer was down stairs cleaning up dinner. I left Ella to attend to Molly in the bathtub while in search for her gumball pajamas. To my pleasant suprise here comes Molly naked and very wet bouncing down the hall to the laundry room! How she got out of the tub is beyond me?? I immediately went to the girls room to grab a diaper. I put the diaper on Molly...mind you I am still in search of Ella's pajamas...and clean ones for Molly too...

Ella is now in the laundry room with Molly searching for her bubble gum pajamas...I hear Ella shout, "Molly don't step in that water!" What water...there was no water on the laundry room floor! I run to see what is going on and to my pleasant suprise...Molly has skillfully taken her diaper off and peed on the the floor. ..I looked at her and said "Molly that is naughty...she laughed..looked at Ella and said "Ella...naughty!" As if Ella had peed on the floor...ha ha...

She is our little handful!

My sister Julie and her husband Clint had their baby BOY March 31st.
Little Nathaniel is so precious! Congrats!! Can't wait to see him.

The Carousel

With this week full of testing for Spencer with school...we haven't seen much of him...The girls and I needed something fun to do...(the girls get tired of Mom all day...and really I needed some fresh air) I took the girls over to The District here in Henderson to ride the Carousel. Oh and did I mention the weather here is BEAUTIFUL!!! We are park goers everyday!

Ella wanted to ride the Carousal multiple times...She loved it! She rode on the Panda Bear and then the Zebra.

Molly wasn't so sure?? No she really did like it! She rode the Horseee. Molly really pronounces that "E" on Horse.

I am NOT your Breakfast!

Ok...So I have been training for a run I am doing in April...I was out early last saturday for an 8 mile run. I was up early enough to see the SUN RISE! How BEAUTIFUL! I was happily groovin' to some tunes on the ipod...running...All of a sudden 2 cyotes come running down the rocks and across the street. I stop dead in my tracks...they are 10 ft from me...what to do?? Do I turn around and go back...No...do I run across the street...No...I stand there. They stare at me for almost 5 minutes then walk away.

I proceed with my run. I am about a mile up the road and again I see (only 1 cyote this time) walk up the rocks he is about 5 ft from me. Ok....I am scared they think I am their breakfast!!

Side note:I was reading USDA Wildlife Data and due to an absence of harassment by residents, urban coyotes lose their natural fear of humans, which is further worsened by people intentionally feeding coyotes. In such situations, some coyotes have begun to act aggressively toward humans, chasing joggers and bicyclists, confronting people walking their dogs, and stalking small children.

If this doesn't scream WATCH OUT what does!!

So back to my story...The cyote runs off! Thankfully! I proceed with my run ( I still have 3 miles left and I really don't know if I should call it quits...) I finish up with the last mile which comes down along side the golf course close to our home...I see to my left 3 small rabbits sitting on the green of hole 9 ...Cute right? Will they jump at me too?? No they watched happily as I passed by!

What an experience!

Update

Ella had tubes put in her ears on Friday and did great.

From start to finish we were at the hospital for about 3 hours. Pretty quick procedure!
The doctor and nurses said she would probably sleep most of the day due to the anesthia...however I really think the girl has opposite affects with the medication! She was wired!

I was sent home with instructions to keep her inside with minimal activity...We ended up taking a walk...she didn't want to ride in the stroller with Molly so she ran for over an hour! Really I thought once we got home she would sleep...Nope!

She is doing great...

Ears

Poor little Ella...5 ear infections in 2 months! yikes!!
She is going for surgery friday...she will have tubes put into both ears. I am really hoping this will help prevent any further ear infections from occuring! Wish us luck...I will post more....

Contest!

So...Spencer and I love to play this game...We play it often! We will have a best out of 3 contest to see how wins! Well, sad to say in our 5 years of marriage I have won only once! It is still fun!

While Molly is napping Ella and I will either play a game or have Learning Time! The other day when I asked Ella what game she wanted to play...she said Battleship! Not Candy Land or Chutes and Ladders or Go Fish...BATTLESHIP!

This is a great game for her. She knows her alphabet very well and also her numbers up to 25. Really...if she starts winning on me...that will be a sad day for she is only 3!
