Eddie

Meet our fun Elf Eddie..straight from Santa @ the North Pole!
The girls have been so excited each day this month to wake up and find Eddie in a different spot! He has also brought the girls a fun Christmas book to read each night to get them in the Christmas spirit!
Thanks to Eddie for making our Holiday fun this year!

Oh Christmas Tree..grr..

After all is said and done...it looks beautiful...and so do the girls.

Simon really got into some trouble..he likes to help at grandmas house and at home with the lights..ornaments..tree skirt..pine needles..and lets just say anything he could get his hands on!

With great excitement!! We took the kids over the weekend to purchase a fresh cut Christmas Tree. To great dismay, once we got the tree picked out, tied to the car, home and inside, we needed to do some major cutting! Can I just tell you this tree stand you see pictured caused us much grief! The girls were so exicted to decorate the tree. I had taken them to pick out a few new ornaments...they had been waiting ALL day for Spencer to get home from rounds at the Hospital...they ended up waiting an additional 2 hours once we got the tree home to get it to stand up without falling over!! NO we are not brain dead when it comes to putting up a tree..but the individual who cut the bottom of our tree merely did not do an "A" job. It was quite comical actually...You should have seen me on the floor trying to cut a large branch...then Spencer doing the same...Ha Ha!! We did it though! The girls were so good and I think Simon only ate a few pine needles and maybe chewed a few ornaments ha ha (j/k).

Party in the House!

Ella celebrated her 5th Birthday in November!!

We had an animal party! A fun face painter and balloon artist came to celebrate with us and the kids really enjoyed it!

The boys!

Upon Ella's request, we went to Red Robin for a birthday dinner. Thanks Grammy for the fun yummy dinner!

Lots of balloon animals @ the Birthday Party! Ella requested a Monkey of course!

Molly requested a pink dog!

Molly wanted to have her face painted like a Witch. She has really been on a witch thing since before halloween.

Ella had her face painted as a princess

Travis, the TiGeR (Ella's cousin) was the first person to invite all the way down from Utah to her birthday party!

Monkey's all around...cake, balloon animal, face paint, and her outfit.

Chunky Monkey!

This is our cute Chunky Monkey! I could blog for days about my little Simon monster! He is just the cutest boy EVER! We just love him to pieces! My sister sent some fun hats down for us to use this fall/winter. I just couldn't pass up this photo...seriously isn't he the cutest!

Field Trip to the P Patch

The blow up slide was a big hit (after 20 minutes of talking Molly into trying it with Ella)

Train ride with the tractor.

(I got to ride in the lucky spot right next to Ella though I am not pictured)

The girls are lucky to have the same Preschool teacher this year (just different classes and days of the week). I was so happy that they did their field trip the same day!

Ella and Molly @ the PuMpKin PaTCh. We had a great time!

Where did little M go?

And.. she is off! Molly is very much into "pretend" with ther dolls and barbies. The other day miss M and I were playing baby dolls (while E was at preschool) and she told me she was taking her babies for a walk. I thought oh..she is pushing them in the pink doll stroller around the house like she normally does. Well, I was wrong. To my surprise...After not hearing her talk and play I found her (half way down the sidewalk) going for a walk with her babies! I didn't really think she was going outside!! yikes! If only they could stay this young forever! I really enjoy having a 3 year old in the house. She is just so logical sometimes :)

There is a first for...

We have had an exciting month!

In our home we have had a few exciting things happen...

Spencer is in his 3rd year of Medical School. He was able to scrub in on his first surgery this month. He is really enjoying this great dynamic in his hospital rotations this year.

I (Kimberly) successfully canned my first batch of home made SALSA! Whoop Whoop! and the great thing is...It even tastes good!

Ella got her first cavity...and her first filling. She wasn't too happy about getting her "tooth polished."

Molly has skillfully learned to write her name for the first time all by herself this month.

Simon is full of firsts!! He got his first tooth (he now has two)...rolled over for the first time and scooted for the first time all this month! And oh boy is he active! He can quickly make his way from one side of the room to the other! (usually to get something or someone he wants) Oh how we love him!

We have had a great month!

Blessing Day

Simon

The family

Four Generations

(Dad Clark, Spencer w/Simon, Grandpa J)

We were so happy to have our parents and grand parents with us for Simon's special day.

We blessed our little munchkin July 3rd. It was a rather HOT (106) day in Henderson Nevada!

We had some yummy food back at the house following his Blessing. Thank you to our family who made the trip down from Utah. We love you!

To Simon

Our little guy is getting bigger!

He weighs in @ 15.5 lbs and 23 inches now!
What I love most about Simon are the sweet noises that come from his little mouth. This boy grunts when he moves or is moved, when he streches, awakens, sleeps, really all the time. It is so sweet to hear the new vocals he has learned. My day consists of joyful smiles , tender kisses and beautiful vocals from my little man. He is such a tender mercy from Heaven. We are so thankful he is ours.

I was thinking...

I love you Spencer!

We did it...2 years of Medical School down 2 more to go!

Oh and...you owe me dinner!

What a whirlwind the past few weeks have been. Two drama girls...potty training...Finals and a Baby! Our house has been a little CRAZY! Just want to say thank you to our friends who have helped us out! Some have taken our girls so I can get a nap...brought in Dinner..helped with house work..and kept me sane ha ha! Thanks!

Precious Bundle

Our little bundle joined our family May 5th. Weighing in @ 8lb 7oz.

I had anticipated him coming several days earlier but he was happily cookin! I however was as uncomfortable as it gets!

We went to the hospital the morning of May 5th..the doctor broke my water and he arrived within 3 hours. What a speedy delivery and that I was very happy for!

The girls adore him and we are so happy he is finally here.

A little bit of...Spring!

Happy Birthday Party to the Hubby!

Lady Bug Release @ Springs Preserve.

My Parents (Nanny and Poppy) came down for a visit over Spring Break. We did lots of fun things while they were here. The girls favorite...Springs Preserve. We learned a little about Nevada and the girls did a fun lady bug craft and got to release hundreds of lady bugs off their hands...which they thought was soooo cool!

Mommy and Me time with Ella. She wanted to go to Build a Bear. Meet her new dog Lucy.

Aunt Amy and Aunt Jill came down for a vacation in the Sun this spring. The highlight of the trip was Ella taking 1st place in our bowling adventure @ South Point. Lots of FUN!

Super Power Chicks! This is what we do when we are bored..ha ha!

Precious Moments

How precious are these pictures! I thought it would be fun to have some memorable pictures with the Girls since they have been so involved with this pregnancy. One of my good Friends (who is an awesome photographer) captured a few photos for us.

Moments

Today was funny...Both girls woke up and came into the bedroom...I am still in bed mind you (I have been so tired lately...not getting good rest for some strange reason ha ha)...they jump on the bed and say wake up Sleepy Bones. I laugh and immediately have to use the bathroom. I then climb back into bed and snuggle my two girls...they begin patting my belly saying "Whoa your tummy is getting huge!!" It's the first time they actually realize the baby really does grow inside my belly. I then asked the girls "what we are going to do when this baby Boy comes?" Ella says, "first we will take him on my favorite ride...the Carousel! he can ride the frog and I will hold him." Molly says, "He play babies with me." We are getting excited!!!

You Know When...

We were shopping @ the grocery store for Snacks and drinks for Ella to take to Preschool last week. Both E and M were pushing their own miniature shopping carts (so cute by the way) gathering items to purchase. We were headed down isle #3 and to our suprise, Ella knocked over a free standing display with small boxes on it. She laughed and said, "oops! Oh by the way mom, You can loose 100 Calories a day with Splenda!!" I was confused until I looked at the boxes she was putting back on the display... SPLENDA right on the front of the box it stated Loose 100 Calories a day! I was laughing so hard I seriously almost had an accident!

Thats when you know your child has seen too many commercials...which means too much TV!

Ok, now seriously...I thought she would repeat a commercial for a toy or something fun, but SPLENDA...really?? Ha Ha I am still laughing!

Holiday Fun

We had such a great time over the Christmas Holiday. We headed from the nice weather in Vegas up to the COLD in Utah...we enjoyed ourselves!
We indeed built a Mini Frosty
Lots of SNOW in UTAH for Christmas

Santa brought a new bike for little E
Which she has now mastered in the warm weather!
He also brought a Trike for Little Miss M
